Academic background: Bachelor’s degree in information and communication (journalism specialty) and master’s degree in journalism (written press specialty) at the Grenoble School of Journalism
Work background: I worked in the restaurant business as well as in a summer camp for many years, to finance my studies.
Journalistic experience:
I did several internships in journalism:
Le Figaro (national daily, France): 5 months, video editing and editing
La Nouvelle République (local daily, France): 3 months, articles for the website
Digital publishing/social media? I animated the social networks of my association for 2 months during my humanitarian trip to Egypt.
Audio/radio/pod? I created my podcast (“Testosterone”, on masculinity) and was a columnist for 1 year in a student association radio.
Photography? As part of my master’s degree in journalism or my internships, I made several photo reports
Video/tv/filming? As part of my master’s degree in journalism and my intership in Figaro, I did several TV reports and web formats (posted on youtube)
Other editing or publishing skills? Première Pro et Final cut pro
Knowledge of the European Parliament (relevant to the CJC project): Low
Special interests/knowledge relevant to research/investigative journalism: I carried out two surveys during my previous master’s degree: one on the brakes on the resolution of “Cold Cases” by the French state, and the other on the management of bedbugs in Grenoble social housing (solution journalism)
Other skills/hobbies: I really like nature, I was a scout leader for years 🙂 Otherwise, I’m a big fan of the tv show
I think I will be able to support my fellow students with: Video editing, organization, solution journalism aspects
