Academic background: Bachelor in Society, Politics, and Policy from University of West of Scotland. Two semesters of Gender Studies at Linné University.
Work background: I have worked as a camera person, video editor, and social media manager at a sports production company.
Journalistic experience: I worked at Partille Cup and Gothia Cup as a reporter writing for the web. I’ve written for several football outlets online and in print, like INDIVISA and Season Zine. I have an email newsletter on women’s football and women in football.
Writing skills (English): Very comfortable.

Graphic/illustration skills? Minimal (beyond playing around in Canva.)
Digital publishing/social media? As mentioned, I’ve worked as a social media manager and run the social media account of my grassroots football team.
Audio/radio/pod? Not a lot of experience, basic audio knowledge.
Photography? I’ve photographed a lot as a hobby.
Video/tv/filming? I have a lot of experience filming and editing for various clients. I’ve also worked in a lot of sports broadcasts.
Other editing or publishing skills?
Knowledge of the European Parliament (relevant to the CJC project). I have an interest, but my knowledge is basic.
Special interests/knowledge relevant to research/investigative journalism: I have a big interest in, and knowledge of, sports and the way they intersect with society.
Other skills/hobbies: I play football for a div 3 team. I also like to read, cook, and go out on my longboard.
I think I will be able to support my fellow students with: I can explain the offside rule (and happily answer any sports-related questions.) And things related to video cameras.
