Graphic/illustration skills? I have used Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign during my bachelor’s degree, but I’m not an expert.
Digital publishing/social media? Nope, I can’t keep up with my own social media…
Audio/radio/pod? I have made several podcasts using Adobe Audition, and I also produced a radio show at my former university.
Photography? I like photography a lot and even have my own camera, but I wouldn’t say to be very skilled at it.
Video/tv/filming? I have some experience in filmmaking. In 2021, I produced a documentary about the housing market in Rotterdam, where I was responsible for both filming and editing. I have only used Premiere Pro for editing. During my internship, I did a lot of scriptwriting.
Other editing or publishing skills? –
Knowledge of the European Parliament (relevant to the CJC project). My knowledge of the European Parliament is quite limited, but I may have picked up some basic information about it through my bachelor’s.
Special interests/knowledge relevant to research/investigative journalism: I have a keen interest in Turkey, both politically and geographically.
Other skills/hobbies: I practice kickboxing (if anyone knows a good gym in Göteborg, please let me know!). I’m certified for Open Water scuba diving. I volunteered with a local scouting group for boys aged 7 to 11 years old. I’m very good at Mario Kart. I listen to podcasts and music a lot, and I love cats (or animals in general).
I think I will be able to support my fellow students with: I see myself as more of an observer, and as a result, I am a good listener. I can see things from different perspectives. And last but not least, I am very organized.
