Digital publishing/social media? I have used Publisher to design magazines for my study association, but do not know whether I would say I am very good at it.

Photography? Very little, I do enjoy it a lot though.
Video/tv/filming? Not done much with this, but very interested in figuring it out and working with it!
Other editing or publishing skills? Peer-reviewing has been a big part of my previous study.
Knowledge of the European Parliament (relevant to the CJC project). I feel like this is my time to shine, as my previous study focused heavily on European politics and thus the EP as well. I have written multiple assignment papers on the inner workings of the EP and many aspects surrounding it. On top of that, I have visited it multiple times as part of my studies.
Special interests/knowledge relevant to research/investigative journalism: My special interests include the deconstruction of (specifically Dutch) colonial memory, neo-imperialism and its consequences and current day political affairs. A further interest of mine is current day religious influence in politics, my bachelor thesis was on the Sweden Democrats and their use of Christian rhetoric to justify far-right political ideas.
Other skills/hobbies: Creative writing, philosophy, hiking, ice skating and cooking. I love listening to podcasts and my favourite, which I highly recommend, is one of the reasons I am currently here (Blowback).
I think I will be able to support my fellow students with: I like to be helpful and supportive, and have some very specific niche knowledge on the topics that interest me, but I hope to find out my specific strengths and how I can support my students with them over the course of this course.
Is there something you want to add? I am looking forward to the coming months!
